AI USAGE POLICY

At Alpha Dog Advertising, we embrace the potential of artificial intelligence (AI) to enhance creativity, efficiency, and insight across our marketing services. This policy outlines how we use AI tools responsibly to support our work while maintaining the highest standards of quality, ethics, and client trust.

Scope

This policy applies to all employees, contractors, and collaborators using AI technologies for internal projects, client work, or any communications bearing the Alpha Dog Advertising name.

Approved Use of AI Tools

Alpha Dog Advertising authorizes the use of AI tools for the following purposes:

  • Content ideation and draft generation (e.g., ad copy, blogs, headlines)
  • Image generation for concept development and mockups
  • Data analysis, reporting, and trend identification
  • Code assistance and automation of internal workflows
  • Language translation and writing support (e.g., grammar, spelling, punctuation)


All AI tools must be reviewed and approved by management before use in client-facing deliverables. Common examples may include platforms like ChatGPT, Jasper, Grammarly, Midjourney, and Adobe Firefly.

Human Oversight Is Required

AI is a tool — not a replacement for human expertise. All outputs generated by AI must be:

  • Reviewed, edited, and approved by a qualified team member
  • Evaluated for tone, brand alignment, and factual accuracy
  • Adjusted to ensure originality and adherence to each client’s voice


No AI-generated content will be sent to clients or published externally without appropriate human review and modification.

Transparency & Disclosure

Alpha Dog Advertising is committed to transparency in how we use AI. In contexts where AI-generated content is delivered to clients or used in public-facing materials, we will disclose its use upon request.

Internally, team members are expected to document when AI has been used to generate first drafts or influence strategic recommendations.

Data Privacy & Confidentiality

AI tools must not be used to process or input:

  • Confidential client information
  • Personally identifiable information (PII)
  • Proprietary strategies or financial data


Alpha Dog Advertising strictly prohibits entering sensitive information into public-facing AI platforms unless explicitly permitted by the client and tool provider.

Ethical Use

Alpha Dog Advertising prohibits the use of AI for:

  • Deceptive or misleading content
  • Plagiarism or uncredited appropriation of others’ work
  • Hate speech, discrimination, or biased language
  • Manipulative tactics or misinformation


Our team is expected to uphold ethical marketing standards regardless of whether content is human- or AI-generated.

Training & Education

We are committed to providing ongoing education to our team about the ethical, technical, and creative uses of AI. All staff using AI tools will be trained to understand their capabilities, limitations, and appropriate applications.

Accountability & Continuous Improvement

Each employee is responsible for adhering to this policy. Questions or concerns about appropriate AI use should be directed to agency leadership.

Alpha Dog Advertising recognizes that AI is rapidly evolving. This policy will be reviewed regularly and updated to reflect changes in technology, best practices, and legal guidance.
