How can a brochure address the unique needs of an international brand by supporting both the US market and the client’s home market, as well?
Two open brochures on a white surface; one highlights green peas with text for marketing, while the other showcases kitchen cabinet storage solutions, organized shelves, and the heading “MAGIC CORNER”—perfect for advertising ideas.

The Challenge

Design a brochure for Kesseböhmer USA that is true to the client’s European brand positioning, but will also resonate with the US dealer-and-consumer audience.

Kesseböhmer, a German-based corporation that includes a division producing storage systems for kitchen, bath, and utility applications, tasked Alpha Dog Advertising with creating a new dealer/consumer-focused brochure to showcase their line of sophisticated storage solutions in the United States.

Once Kesseböhmer read our strategy and saw our brochure concepts, they abandoned their European agency’s idea and chose ours.

Our Solution

After reviewing the creative strategy originally presented by their European agency, we challenged them to take a step back and look at the US market from a completely different perspective. Once Kesseböhmer read our strategy and saw our brochure concepts, they abandoned their European agency’s idea and chose ours. We established an environment of respect and trust and collaborated with their European agency to ensure our mutual client received the best solution possible.
